The Empowerment Project will take place on a large piece of land with gardens and small animals where individuals with disabilities can find purpose, connection and growth. We envision the mornings to consist of learning to care for the land, grow produce, and tend to the animals. By participating in these meaningful activities, they gain a sense of accomplishment and develop essential life skills. In the afternoons, our service users may attend work experience sites or participate in community outings, further expanding their horizons and fostering their integration within society.
